Help Us Save Lives and Make History.

The iron has never been hotter. The window is real and narrow. This is the film. This is the moment. God has put us in a unique position to make a real difference.

(Watch the trailer above first. Then read this.)

The situation in Nigeria is moving fast — and not in the right direction.

After a few targeted U.S. strikes and a delusional declaration of "victory," President Trump is signaling he may close the book and move on. But the genocide rages on. When the jihadist ruling elite see America turn away, I believe we will witness the greatest escalation of faith-based massacre and displacement in a generation. The past 15 years — with some 185,000 killed and millions displaced — will look like just the opening act.

A high-level narrative war is raging right now, which will determine whether the world seriously intervenes to stop this bloody jihad. The corrupt Nigerian government is spending tens of millions of dollars in Washington to derail U.S. intervention with a false image of success — and it is working.

Today, God has placed us — you and me — in a unique and heavy position. This assignment God has given us may truly be the best hope for victory at this critical hour.

This journey began for me in 2019 when the Lord unexpectedly led us into a camp full of survivors of the Gwoza Massacre — right in the heart of Nigeria's capital. When I promised to tell their story, I had no idea it would take nearly seven years and cost what it has cost. I would have gladly finished in seven months.

But God knows what He is doing — and His timing is perfect. Had we released even ten months ago, we would have been shouting into a vacuum. Today the awareness is raised. The battle lines are drawn. God has miraculously opened doors of significant influence for me in Nigeria and growing influence in Washington. He used me last October to break this story open around the world and compel U.S. engagement. And it can happen again.

This is why God has not allowed us to finish the film before now. Now is the time. And we are very close.

Nobody cared about Blood Diamonds until a film made them care. Then the narrative shifted. Public outcry rose. Policy followed. An industry built on slavery and murder was dismantled — and lives were saved across a continent.

Ambassador Sam Brownback recently told me that Me & Ms. Hanatu can be that film for Nigeria — that it might be our best shot at steering things the right direction. I believe him. The story is personal, urgent, and impossible to ignore — and we have the world-class team to tell it with the production quality it demands.

We are aiming for Cannes or Sundance. The film is highly anticipated. The soundtrack is half released and already generating royalties. Eighty hours of footage have been digitized, transcoded, and catalogued. The narrative is locked and storyboarded beat by beat. We are in post-production right now — focused on assembly and the finish work that makes it truly world-class.

We have raised and invested $188K to get here. The remaining need is $342K to carry us all the way through post-production, legal, licensing, packaging, marketing, and festivals — at which point we expect to land a major distributor. For a film of this caliber, that is very little. The immediate need is $92K to finish the film itself to the highest Hollywood standards.

The momentum is real. The team is fully engaged. We just need to cross the finish line — and that is where you come in.

What Films Like This Actually Cost

$530K all-in is not a big ask. It's a bargain. Here's the proof.

Film Budget What Happened
The Act of Killing (2012) ~$1M Oscar-nominated. Telluride/Toronto. Reopened Indonesia's genocide discussion worldwide. Raw perpetrator confrontation — closest structural comp to this film.
Navalny (2022) Mid-to-high six figures HBO/CNN-backed. Sundance Audience Award. Oscar winner. High-stakes political persecution with global policy ripples.
No Other Land (2024) Low-to-mid six figures Oscar winner. Berlin awards. $3.8M box office. On-the-ground displacement documentation with personal stakes — displacement and erasure as the story.
20 Days in Mariupol (2023) Under $1M Sundance premiere. Oscar winner. Raw journalistic authenticity in a war zone. Proves urgency and access drive laurels more than budget.
Me & Ms. Hanatu $530K all-in 80+ hours of exclusive footage. World-class team. 3B+ impressions already generated. Cannes / Sundance target. Distribution deal expected on delivery.

Many Oscar winners spent $1M or more but succeeded on story power, access, and timing — not bloated production. This raise is exactly what separates festival contenders from the pack.
