The Christian Spring: Trump’s Global Masterstroke

The Christian Spring: Trump’s Global Masterstroke

By Mike Arnold

Obama’s Arab Spring was a lie—a poison sold as medicine.

It was pitched as freedom, but it delivered fragmentation, chaos, and death. Obama’s foreign policy didn’t stumble into disaster—it engineered it. Regime change after regime change, nation after nation handed over to jihadists. The Muslim Brotherhood surged to power in Egypt. Libya dissolved into warlord chaos. Syria and Iraq became slaughterhouses. And Christianity across the Middle East and North Africa wasn’t just declining—it was being extinguished. Erased. Ground to dust under the boots of radicals who suddenly had Western air cover and American weapons.

No modern world leader has more to advance radical Islam across the globe than Barack Obama—perhaps second only to Muhammad himself.

That’s not rhetoric. That’s the record. And Donald Trump is systematically dismantling every piece of it.

What’s happening right now is not a policy adjustment. This isn’t diplomatic tinkering or a new strategic framework. This is Trump’s masterstroke—the global drain of the swamp Obama filled with blood. Where Obama empowered jihadists, Trump is hunting them. Where Obama abandoned Christians, Trump is defending them. Where Obama bowed and apologized and looked away, Trump strikes and declares and forces the world to watch.

This is the Christian Spring. And it’s unfolding on every continent.

At the center of it stands a proactive and energized alliance the globalists never wanted and the Islamists fear most: the United States and Israel, united not just strategically but morally—openly, unapologetically committed to the defense of persecuted Christians worldwide. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stopped mincing words. Speaking to evangelical leaders at the end of 2025, he laid it out plainly: “We are joining an effort to have basically a united nations of countries that support Christian communities around the world—in Africa with intel, in the Middle East with a lot of means I won’t itemize. This is our agenda, and it’s going to continue with greater force and greater might.”

Then he named the enemy—the enemy Obama coddled and Trump confronts: “We see the battle against our Judeo-Christian tradition being waged around the globe, waged primarily by two forces: radical Shiite Islam and radical Sunni Islam. The axis led by Iran, and the Sunni axis led by the Muslim Brotherhood, which permeates everything—Europe, the United States, Africa, Nigeria.”

Read that again. The Prime Minister of Israel publicly naming the Muslim Brotherhood’s infiltration of the West. Naming Nigeria. Declaring a global coalition to defend Christians. This isn’t back-channel diplomacy. This is open warfare against the forces Obama spent eight years unleashing.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio has been just as blunt: “Radical Islam is not just a terrorist threat—it is an ideological movement seeking global domination. Their objective is not coexistence. It is conquest. If we fail to name it, we cannot fight it.” And Trump himself, in a 2025 national security briefing: “We are no longer apologizing for our values. Radical Islam is the greatest threat to world peace. The days of denial are over.”

The days of denial are over. And so is the era of American retreat.

Christmas Day 2025, Trump hit ISIS militants in Sokoto, Nigeria—the symbolic seat of the Sultanate, the Islamic power structure that has quietly strangled northern Nigeria for over two centuries. That strike was a message heard around the world: nowhere is safe for jihadists anymore. And the way it was executed? Pure chess.

Just the day before the strike, Netanyahu came out publicly and spoke about ending the Christian genocide in Nigeria—a clear signal the operation involved Israeli dialogue. Trump declared the strike as a specific effort to end the Christian genocide. Then—and here’s where it gets beautiful—he publicly thanked the Nigerian government for their cooperation. Of course we know Tinubu’s government did minimal constructive cooperation, if anything. I suspect they tried to undermine it. But Trump forced Tinubu into having to acknowledge working with the United States and Israel to end the Christian genocide. Now Tinubu is getting attacked by his own base in the North. Perfect chess move by Trump. And fun to watch.

But Nigeria isn’t a sideshow. In many ways, it’s the epicenter.

General (ret.) Michael Langley, former commander of U.S. Africa Command, identified the region, anchored in Northern Nigeria, as “the epicenter of global terrorism.” That’s not my phrase—that’s the Pentagon’s assessment. What we’re looking at is the modern evolution of a 200-year-old conquest machine: the Sokoto Caliphate, preserved by British colonial “indirect rule,” upgraded with ISIS logistics and al-Qaeda financing, and now declaring Nigeria “phase one” of a worldwide caliphate revival. Their own recruitment videos say it plainly. This is not speculation—this is their stated mission.

And the numbers are catastrophic. Absent intervention, we’re looking at a radicalized generation of 5 to 6 million youth by 2030—children in IDP camps right now, deprived of education, abandoned and ripe for recruitment. Jihadi control of $40+ billion per year in Nigerian oil (drilled from the Christian Delta region). Access to $700 billion in strategic minerals. The black flag of radical Islam planted not just over Abuja, but positioned to spread across the entire African continent and beyond.

Radical Islam is the root of evil in Nigeria. This is not about politics or poverty. It’s not tribal misunderstanding. It is a deep, generational ideology—spiritual in nature, destructive in practice—and it has roots in the founding of the Caliphate. The British preserved it. Obama empowered it. Biden buried the evidence. And now Trump is confronting it.

The British are one of the nefarious global forces with their bloody hand deep in the Nigerian cookie jar. They’re as much to blame for the genocide as Boko Haram—their indirect rule system kept the caliphate structure intact for a century, their intentional formation of a nation founded to fail worked, and their modern diplomacy has done nothing but deflect attention. And China? China doesn’t want the US involved in stopping the genocide. Why? Chinese nationals and firms are directly complicit in fueling Nigeria’s blood-mineral pipeline. China’s hands are stained with the blood of the displaced and the dead, turning Nigerian soil into profit while genocide rages. After Trump’s Christmas bombing, when Nigeria’s radical Sheikh Gumi encouraged Pres. Tinubu to reach out to “neutral” China, Pakistan, and Turkey for help with “insecurity,” he showed exactly whose side they are on.

But Trump isn’t playing defense anymore. This is a coordinated global offensive across four continents with one objective: destroy the jihadist networks Obama’s policies allowed to metastasize, so that righteous, freedom-loving, life-affirming, peaceful (and US-friendly) regimes may rise up in their place.

In Somalia, U.S. air operations against al-Shabaab are relentless—degrading their capacity week by week. In Syria, retaliatory strikes are dismantling what’s left of ISIS infrastructure, with intelligence-sharing between Washington, Jerusalem, and Jordan making precision possible. In Yemen, Iran’s Houthi proxies are being systematically degraded—not just to protect shipping lanes, but to dismantle Tehran’s entire proxy architecture. In Iran itself, youth uprisings—no doubt assisted by CIA and Mossad coordination—are converging with economic collapse and spiritual fatigue to destabilize the regime from within. And at home, Brotherhood front groups are being designated and defunded. CAIR-linked networks are being exposed. Fraud rings tied to Islamist financing are being prosecuted and gutted. Nigeria is back on the religious persecution watchlist after Biden’s disgraceful removal. Iran’s regime is cracking under sanctions, youth uprisings, and spiritual collapse.

The entire architecture of radical Islam is under assault—from the mosques of Michigan to the killing fields of Nigeria.

The actions the Obama and Biden administrations took to undermine peace and stability in Nigeria do not reflect the values of the American people. Trump is doing what no president dared: naming the enemy, fighting the enemy, and rallying the world to join him. This is the swamp drained on a global stage. This is righteousness replacing rot. This is freedom advancing where oppression ruled.

So what does victory look like?

Picture the Ayatollah’s regime crumbling—not from invasion but from its own spiritual bankruptcy, abandoned by its youth, crushed by its failures. Picture Nigeria freed from the caliphate’s shadow—Christian communities restored, IDP camps emptied, children returning to schools instead of mass graves. Picture Biafra risen—not as secessionist rebellion but as renewal. A Christian republic in the heart of Africa. A Wakanda forged from genocide and resurrection. A beacon to the nations. Picture the Sultan’s grip broken. Sharia corridors emptied. Radical mosques shuttered in London. No-go zones reclaimed in Paris. Revival fire sweeping through Germany. And America cleansed of the apologist rot that told us to tolerate the intolerable—policy finally aligned with truth, courage, and the Word of God.

Thanks to the Christmas strike—historic, unprecedented international attention—people around the world who never knew anything about Nigeria now know it exists. The question is what comes next. Will it live in infamy like Syria and Afghanistan? Or will it rise from the ashes as a testimony to what happens when good men finally act?

The tremors have already begun. The Christian Spring is a strategy, executed with precision and backed by power. Trump’s power. American power. Israeli partnership. And behind it all, the hand of God moving through history.

The tide is turning. The nations are awakening.

Let it be.
