Victory or Death
The Trumpet is sounding There is no going back. Not now. Not ever.
A note about the image: My ministry in Nigeria has a sister congregation, More Than Conquerors Church, in Ngoshe, Gwoza, Borno State – believers bold enough to gather and worship in the very heart of darkness. This picture shows some of the members of this church, late last year, being beheaded with dull axes as the crowd cheers. And while a multitude of Nigerian Christians, led by ravenous wolves in sheep’s clothing, turn a blind eye while they seek their “best life now.” The spirit behind this is the same spirit that cheers the death of Charlie Kirk. It is here and it seeks domination. We are not immune.

We have crossed the threshold where words reveal hearts, and the hearts of many are wicked. When murder is celebrated, when lies are gleefully spread, when truth is silenced and hatred — even murder — is applauded, the mask is off. The culture of death has shown its face.
And let’s be clear: there is a difference between silencing critics and shunning wickedness. Cancel culture is evil. It seeks to erase dissent, punish disagreement, and force conformity to lies. Accountability culture is godly. It exposes murderous intent, shames evil words, de-platforms poison, boycotts corruption, and removes influence from those who will not repent. Not to punish for punishment’s sake, but to protect the innocent and restore the guilty if they will turn.
Jesus said it straight: “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. The good man brings good out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil out of the evil stored up in him” (Matthew 12:34–35). Words aren’t empty. They are confessions of the heart. When someone cheers the murder of the righteous, they are confessing their own readiness to see you silenced, stripped, or slaughtered. Do not be deceived — if they approve of one man’s death for his words, they approve of yours also.
This is not partisan. This is not “both sides.” This is existential. If those who hate Christ, who despise truth, who glorify violence and cheer lies regain power unchecked, history tells us what comes next. We’ve seen it before: ideological purges, erasure of rights, persecution of the faithful, and, if left unopposed, genocide. From the gulags of the Soviets, to Mao’s Cultural Revolution, to the blood-soaked soil of nations today, like Nigeria, where Christians are actively slaughtered — the pattern is the same. First mockery. Then marginalization. Then elimination.
And do not think we are immune. While American youth were singing at Woodstock, Chinese youth were hunting, humiliating and slaughtering their elders under Mao. Now we trade with them. Ideology, once unleashed, does not stop at words. It devours everything. The spirit of antichrist is already at work, and it hates what is holy.
So the trumpet sounds. Choose this day. Victory or death.
This is not a call to vengeance. This is not license for lawlessness. This is a call to relentless, disciplined, godly courage. We conquer as Christ conquered — with truth that exposes lies, with love that heals the broken, with testimony that will not be silenced, even unto death.
Shame the wicked. Shun the deceivers. Boycott the merchants of lies. Fire the hirelings who corrupt. De-platform the voices of poison. These are not acts of cruelty but of love — love that protects, love that draws a line, love that refuses to let evil run unchecked.
But above all, rise. Speak. Stand. Count the cost. Stop wringing your hands like the ten spies who feared the giants. Be like Joshua and Caleb, who said, “The Lord is with us. Do not be afraid.” The Jordan is open. The waters are parting. To retreat now is to die in the wilderness. To step forward is to claim the promise.
The world will hate you. Jesus promised it. If you are still trying to please men, you are not a servant of Christ (Galatians 1:10). But to the one who conquers, the inheritance is sure: “He who conquers will inherit all things, and I will be his God and he will be My son” (Revelation 21:7).
So let the trumpet sound across this land. No compromise. No retreat. This is victory or death.
NIKAO. Conquer.
