Wake Up: The Vandals Are at the Gate—And We’re Letting Them In
By Mike Arnold
We are watching Great Britain unravel. We see France burning, Germany splintering, and whole swaths of Europe buckling under the weight of mass migration and cultural collapse. And if you think America is immune, think again. The same cracks are showing here.
This is not alarmism. This is history repeating itself.
Rome was once the most advanced civilization on earth. It built roads that lasted two thousand years, aqueducts that carried fresh water across mountains, and laws that shaped nations for centuries. But when the Vandals poured into Rome in 455 A.D., they didn’t build on that foundation—they looted it. They stripped the city of its treasures, milked its systems, and left it hollow. What followed was centuries of darkness.
The Vandals didn’t destroy Rome—they simply took advantage of Romans who no longer valued their own civilization.
That’s the danger we face now. Liberals scoff at the very idea of American exceptionalism. They sneer at our Constitution, call our history evil, and take for granted the very systems that lifted us higher than any nation in human history.
But America didn’t become the greatest nation on earth by random chance. It happened because enlightened men and women, bound by the rule of law, built institutions and infrastructure that empowered ordinary people to do extraordinary things. It was fine-tuned over generations—freedom protected by responsibility, prosperity fueled by hard work, stability upheld by order.
Tear that down, and what’s left? Chaos. Entitlement. Collapse.
We’re already seeing the pattern in some of our own communities—systems strained, laws ignored, culture fraying. The same liberal blindness that insists America is just one more country on the map is what opens the gates to decline. Because when you stop believing your civilization is worth defending, it isn’t long before no one defends it.
Rome didn’t fall because of the Vandals. Rome fell because Romans stopped being Romans.
And if Americans stop being Americans—if we forget who we are, what we’ve built, and why it matters—we will follow the same road into the dark.
Wake up. The Vandals are here. The only question is whether we’ll stand up and stop them, or sleepwalk into history’s graveyard.
