WHY I CAN NO LONGER REMAIN SILENT ABOUT THE SAVE NIGERIA COALITION AND THEIR UPCOMING “RALLY” AND “GALA”

WHY I CAN NO LONGER REMAIN SILENT ABOUT THE SAVE NIGERIA COALITION AND THEIR UPCOMING “RALLY” AND “GALA”

By Mike Arnold

To be clear for the Washington audience: I do not support or advocate for any Nigerian political candidate or faction. I stand with former Ambassador Sam Brownback in believing that Nigerian separation is likely inevitable. This document is about stopping a genocide and exposing those who are obstructing that effort β€” wittingly or not. That is not a partisan position. It is a moral one, based on 16 years on the ground in Nigeria.

I need to say something. I have been holding back. I can no longer remain silent.

The Save Nigeria coalition β€” which I helped build over the past several months, investing my credibility earned over sixteen years in the field β€” has been derailed, perhaps even captured. At the very least it has become divided, conflicted, co-opted, and I believe counter-productive in the most damaging way possible.

Before I go further, let me say this clearly: I am not questioning the hearts or motivations of the people involved. I believe most of them genuinely care about Nigerian Christians. I believe they want to see the killing stop. What I am questioning β€” profoundly β€” is their judgment. And at this moment in history, judgment is everything.

Let me first establish what I believe, and have stated numerous times publicly: Working with the Nigerian government to end the genocide is like working with the Third Reich to end the Holocaust.

I did not come to this conclusion lightly. I have been on the ground in Nigeria through Yar’adua, Jonathan, Buhari, and now Tinubu. I actually had hope when Tinubu was elected. In 2024 I met with his Minister of Foreign Affairs Tuggar, his Minister of Information Idris, spoke with NSA Ribadu and Senate President Akpabio, and many others. I raised the plight of the displaced, asked them to recognize and aid them, and offered ideas on how to work with the US to do so.

I was so well regarded in their circles as being diplomatic and credible that they invited me β€” and paid the travel expenses for me β€” to anchor their now famous October 14 press conference, to toe their line.

Instead I willingly risked my life to use that platform to declare genocide. This is not an exaggeration. I was advised by credible experts there was a fair chance they would kill me for it. I updated my will. I had a somber farewell with my family before leaving. I was willing to lay down my life for this truth to get out. I still am. God used that in a very, very big way.

What I have learned since then is that the Nigerian government is not merely neglectful or conflicted. It is fully complicit with a caliphate whose overriding conviction is that it is their destiny to fully Islamize Nigeria and purify it as a platform for the prophesied Mahdi. The genocide is precisely this β€” removing Christians and apostate Muslims to make straight the path for their anticipated jihad messiah. This was the stated goal and passionate message of dan Fodio, founder of the caliphate, whose teachings are studied and revered today. It has never stopped.

With the proper reinsertion of the Biafran War into Nigerian history, what becomes clear is that this has been a 222-year jihad β€” occasionally setback and softened, but never broken. The same ruling class that intentionally starved to death some three million Igbo β€” mainly children, with British backing β€” during thirty months between 1967 and 1970, and wrote the 1999 Constitution ensuring Northern domination and enrichment β€” mentioning Sharia and other Islamic terms 165 times and Christianity zero β€” still rules Nigeria today. Unrepentant. Brazen. Still advancing the same agenda.

The leading scholar of literally the boko haram philosophy is today writing the textbooks for Nigeria’s fifty million schoolchildren. He calls it “intellectual jihad.” Turkey is now training the Nigerian military β€” SADAT, which handles their African training programs, was founded to prepare for the Mahdi, and recruits trainers from ISIS. Tinubu has pivoted core pillars of the Nigerian economy to China, insulating them from US sanctions. And NSA Ribadu β€” documented to have armed the Miyetti Allah Fulani militia, widely reported to call them his “brothers” β€” personally signed a $9 million contract with lobbyist DCI Group to spin the genocide narrative in Washington and make the Tinubu government look like it is doing something worthwhile.

I have written a book about this β€” EPICENTER, which reached Number One on Amazon in three categories and is widely endorsed. I am frequently told by Nigerians that I know more about their country than they do. I am presently writing briefings for a circle that includes CENTCOM, AFRICOM, and the White House, and they have asked for more. I do not say any of this to boast. I say it because what follows deserves to be heard in that context. Not everyone thinks I’m crazy.

I believe Trump may be the best chance we get at setting things right in our lifetimes. And yet he is surrounded by advisors who are deeply conflicted and/or deeply naive about the reality on the ground. DCI is ensuring that remains so.

I believe if Trump leaves this regime intact β€” if he leaves office without addressing the root causes β€” and especially if another Obama acolyte follows β€” the backlash will make Biafra look like a warm-up. They will accelerate their prophecy-driven ambition to “dip the Quran in the Atlantic Ocean” and use a caliphate-conquered Nigeria as a launchpad for global jihad. And they will know there is nothing the West will do to stop them. I do not believe there is any other honest way to read the situation.

NOW ENTER THE COALITION.

With my positions well known, I was invited to keynote this coalition’s December 1 rally in Washington β€” where I stated all of the above and was celebrated for doing so. With my active help and credibility, I helped them build the organization.

When they received pushback from the swamp, they decided my message was not “politically correct” in DCI’s Washington. And they unceremoniously kicked me to the curb.

I kept silent. Until now.

A WORD ON JUDGMENT.

I want to be careful here, because I mean what I said at the outset. I do not believe the people in this coalition are bad people. I believe they are good people making a catastrophically wrong call at a catastrophically wrong moment.

They believe it is a positive thing for the United States to be working WITH the Nigerian government. They do not want to make waves in Washington by taking a stand against a naive congressman who publicly celebrates his relationship with the NSA who arms the Fulani militias. They believe my position is hurting their “diplomacy” efforts β€” by which they mean their efforts to gain favor in DC.

I understand the instinct. Washington rewards accommodation. It punishes people who name things plainly. I have paid that price personally and I know what it costs. I don’t care.

But here is what accommodation produces in this case: it hands DCI another day of effectiveness. Every softened statement, every decision not to rock the boat, every refusal to call the Tinubu government what it is β€” complicit β€” is a day the killing continues unaddressed and a day the lobbying machine runs unopposed, cashing Ribadu’s fat paychecks.

You do not gain favor in DC by refusing to name what is happening. You become useful idiots for the people responsible for it.

And let me say something about how Washington actually works β€” because this coalition has been sucked entirely into the bubble DCI created for them. If these people believe they can avoid offending misguided policymakers, kiss enough of the right rings, and that this will somehow earn them an audience where they can someday, somehow, perhaps gently mention the deeper truths β€” they are dangerously naive. That is not how politics works. It has never worked that way. Bootlicking sycophants are never respected in Washington. They are used up and discarded. The people who get heard are the people who cannot be ignored. You become impossible to ignore by telling the truth at full volume, not by making yourself agreeable to the people managing the lie.

I have said it before and I will say it plainly here: if this regime withstands Trump β€” if it survives this moment of global scrutiny intact, its lobbying machine unbroken, its narrative unchallenged, its security apparatus unreformed β€” the blood to come is partly on the hands of those who refused to take an unpopular stand when it counted.

That is not a comfortable thing to write about people I have worked alongside and have genuine affection for. But it is the truth.

EQUIPPING WHO, EXACTLY?

In 2024, there was a moment when many of us were still hopeful about the new administration. This was the period when the Nigerian government had lied to the world by declaring Boko Haram finished and the number two ISIS commander killed. We now know these were brazen falsehoods. It was during this same period that the now-Shambassador Reno Omokri called and begged me to nominate Ribadu for the Nobel Peace Prize. I pushed back and demanded proof. He dropped it.

So when Judd Saul offered to help them, I understand the temptation. I genuinely do. The situation looked different than it was. But I demanded proof before I would commit anything. Saul seemingly did not demand proof. Instead, he wrote checks. He took pictures. Here is exactly what he built and supplied β€” on the record, confirmed in official Nigerian press and by the NSCDC’s own Commandant General:

January 22, 2024: Judd Saul, through his Nigerian operations partner Dr. Benedict Joseph Aliku β€” CEO of Equipping the Needy Initiative (ETNI), a Nigerian-registered NGO, and simultaneously Operations Manager of Equipping the Persecuted, the US 501(c)(3) β€” donated three advanced surveillance drones and 100 self-configured walkie-talkies to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) at their national headquarters in Abuja. This was confirmed on the record by four separate Nigerian newspapers: Premium Times, The Punch, Leadership, and Blueprint. The NSCDC’s own official spokesman, CSC Babawale Zaid Afolabi, issued the press release.

December 7, 2024: Saul’s American team β€” Aliku, Saul, security consultant Mark Danner, and electrical engineer Steve Fisher β€” inaugurated the Counter Terrorism Command and Control Center (CT-C4) at NSCDC national headquarters in Abuja. Commandant General Ahmed Abubakar Audi personally and publicly thanked “the CEO Equipping the Needy Mr Benedict Aliku and other partners: Mr Judd Saul, Mr Mark Danner and Mr Steve Fisher” β€” confirming Saul by name as a partner in a Nigerian government paramilitary security facility. The Minister of the Interior attended and commended the project.

The man who received Saul’s equipment and accepted his partnership is no incidental figure. Commandant General Ahmed Abubakar Audi is the son of an Islamic cleric from Nasarawa State, appointed by the blood-soaked President Buhari in 2021 and renewed by Tinubu in February 2026 β€” bypassing the Igbo officer next in succession by established protocol. Audi has been the subject of formal petitions to the EFCC alleging multi-billion naira contract fraud, accused of turning the NSCDC into what one civil society organization called “a disgusting corruption pit.” He has been documented shielding his own officers from ICPC prosecution.

This matters. The NSCDC does not operate in isolation. It reports upward through the Ministry of Interior to the Office of the National Security Adviser β€” Nuhu Ribadu. The man who publicly calls jihadist militants his “brothers.” The man who coordinated the arming of Miyetti Allah Fulani militia with AK-47 rifles. (The Fulani militias are known to do most of the genocidal killing these days.) The man who personally signed the $9 million DCI lobbying contract in Washington to suppress the genocide narrative. Audi answers to Ribadu. The CT-C4 that Saul built coordinates counterterrorism operations that flow upward to Ribadu’s office. The drones Saul donated are deployed at Audi’s direction β€” under Ribadu’s command structure.

This is a documented, named, government-confirmed American partnership with the Nigerian federal security apparatus under Ribadu β€” the same apparatus that received advance warning of the Yelewata attack three weeks before it happened and stood down while 300 Christians were burned alive. The same apparatus whose forces withdrew from Ngoshe before the first shot was fired, leaving 100 dead and 300 abducted into slavery.

The record goes further. At the January 2024 handover, Aliku stated publicly on behalf of ETNI β€” the Nigerian entity β€” that the organization intended to “embark on IDP shelter projects for the needy in five states of Kaduna, Benue, Kogi, and Nasarawa, to be managed by the NSCDC.” American donor money raised through the US 501(c)(3) would flow through ETNI into IDP infrastructure β€” run by the same paramilitary force standing down during massacres of the very people living in those camps.

Saul chained his reputation to Ribadu’s security apparatus. And now he is stuck. How can he speak against them now?

And that selective dysfunction is not accidental. This apparatus stands down when Fulani militias attack Christian communities in the Middle Belt. It does not stand down when operating against the Igbo in the Southeast. It always has been selective β€” and Saul’s equipment is now part of that architecture.

No wonder why, in November of last year, when I asked Saul if he were going to attend the December 1 protest, he shockingly replied: “Probably not. It’s being run by the Igbo.”

Saul’s man in Nigeria has also attempted to sell security equipment to members of our own missionary network inside Nigeria. Not donate. Sell.

Whatever else he is doing, Judd Saul is literally equipping the people many now believe to be the persecutors. There is no other way to say it. And now the rest of this starts to make sense.

THE GALA.

I did not know, when Saul stepped in and offered to bankroll the coalition’s June 23 gala, what that would mean for the event’s character. Now I do.

Look at the promotional flyer. The event is called the “US Nigeria Faith Heroes Award Gala.” Faith Heroes. Awards. Celebration. Search that flyer for the word genocide. You will not find it. Search for massacre, for Fulani, for Boko Haram, for ISWAP, for Middle Belt, for IDP β€” for any reference whatsoever to the people who are dying and why this coalition supposedly exists. It is not there. This flyer is indistinguishable from a Nigerian government cultural promotion. It could have been produced by DCI’s own team. For all practical purposes, it was.

I am not alone in this read. Word from inside Washington is that significant figures who were expected to attend have quietly declined β€” because they find it bizarre, and frankly offensive, to be celebrating anything in the middle of an active genocide.

The gala organizers are now welcoming President Tinubu’s Ambassador to the United States as an “Honored Guest.”

The representative of the government of Nuhu Ribadu. The government that armed the Fulani militias. The government that signed the $9 million DCI contract to bury this story in Washington. The government whose security forces stand down while Christians are massacred. An honored guest.

Awards will be handed to people who have done literally nothing of consequence related to this catastrophe β€” invited because their names open doors and their faces fill promotional materials.

This will be held while the genocide rages on. While the bodies are still being buried. While hundreds of thousands of displaced Nigerians live in camps without food, without shelter, and without justice.

This is effectively a DCI event with Christian cover. And they didn’t even have to pay for it.

Coalition leader Stephen Osemwegie as of today is publicly reposting and agreeing with DCI’s professionally produced propaganda β€” Nigerian government spin framing Ribadu’s security apparatus as a Trump win. “The U.S.-Nigeria Counterterrorism Partnership is DELIVERING FOR NIGERIA. Real Leaders. Real Action. Real Results.” That is a paid product of the $9 million lobbying operation suppressing the genocide narrative. Osemwegie has amplified it approvingly. Heaven forbid he offends anyone.

When I factually raised concerns about Congressman Moore publicly celebrating his relationship with Ribadu, a coalition board member defamed me online with a bald-faced lie, and has refused to correct it. Not Ribadu. He attacked me.

I do not say any of this with satisfaction. These are people I worked alongside and care about. I wanted this coalition to succeed. What I cannot do β€” what I will not do β€” is pretend that what I am seeing is something other than what it is.

Judd Saul has funded and equipped Ribadu’s apparatus. Riley Moore celebrates his partnership with Ribadu. Stephen Osemwegie boosts DCI’s messaging and calls the β€œpartnership” productive. The coalition hosts Tinubu’s ambassador as an honored guest. Awards go to people who have done nothing. Photos are taken. Money changes hands. DCI will have a field day with this β€œgala.”

And people keep dying.

WHERE I STAND.

I did not spend sixteen years serving in Nigeria β€” the past seven risking my life to document and draw the world’s attention to a genocide, including at a press conference in Abuja β€” to end up lending my name to a gala that honors the ambassador of the government covering it up and celebrates a “partnership” with a corrupt, complicit regime.

I am not leaving the fight. I am leaving the room where the fight has been replaced by a reception line.

The work continues. The documentation will be released in full. The congressional engagement continues. Africa Arise Alliance is growing β€” a real coalition to bring true, positive change and peace to the land known as Nigeria.

The truth does not require a coalition to survive. But it does require people willing to say what they see β€” even when it costs something.

It is costing me something today. I am saying it anyway.

If you have a deeper or different understanding of the facts, and come to a different conclusion, you are free to disagree with me. These people clearly do. I welcome open dialogue and debate, as iron sharpens iron. Based on everything I have seen and studied, this remains the inescapable position I have come to after a journey of faith that has taken me deep into the heart of darkness, to discover lights that refuse to die, and it has cost me everything. Here I stand, I can do no other. So help me God.

God is with you on this journey, your truth shall prevail at last.my familyβ€˜s prayers are with you.

  2. I’ve been tugging your coat for a few weeks now for very deliberate reason. Your press conference last October was timely as I myself had come to similar conclusions with you. Though I did believe it was late in coming, it was understandable that such was not possible during the Biden administration, as I have noted many time the comments from Biden & democrat officials seeming to call Nigeria a Muslim country. Once during the Obama admin my car in Jos, was attacked by police accompanying an American convoy, when I put it on Facebook, no one in the group I created even sympathized with me. Some years later after a few suspicious incidents I vetted the group & discovered an American marine hiding within the members of my Facebook group. I knew all the American members I included in the group, so I panicked & closed the group.
Why am I saying this. Since 2010 I have experienced many things, it is safe to say you are just going through what many of us here in Nigeria have been going through for many years. I am not the only honest pastor in Nigeria, but I have seen honest pastors go rogue for no explainable reason since 2010. You took a picture with Rev. Haruna right. He officiated my wedding. I email him up to six times yearly, I can’t remember the last time he replied mail. This is not because we publicly disagreed on anything but because I am at the center of the attempt to suppress the christian message. Some from within the institutionalized church.
In conclusion what I am saying is, are you ready to go further in carrying your cross, then I believe there is still hope, maybe not as we perceive it with our feeble minds but just to trust God a little more and see what happens. I run a Christian non profit (Christ Revival Mission Interdenominational) you can call or email me. I believe we can work together. I also may have a unique perspective on Nigeria & Biafra. There is always room for a wider perspective. I also during my 15 year struggle was led to investigate the Igbo dilemma a bit more deeply.

  3. This genocide against Christians in nigeria and those behind it are so visible that anyone who cannot see it or fight against it cannot convince himself that he takes a genuine stand. I pray the Trump administration will listen to Mike Anold than anyone thinking he can work with the nigerian government to fight this fΓΌlΓ£nΓ― jihad.

  4. It begin to add up that Tinubu had an agreement with the cult of the Sultan of Sokoto to islamize Nigeria if he is imposed on Nigerians.
I know all the pillars of the cult will crumble.

  5. God will continue to keep and preserve you.

Nigeria government operates like a drug cartel ,.
They are always ready to cover everything up.

The agenda is still the islamization.

    The need the oil,.
    They need the gas.
They need all the mineral resources so they can control the world with everything they have for the upcoming jihad.

It was at this point that UK was looking for a place to get oil the other time and he have to go to an Islamic state.

When they captured Nigeria fully they will capture any place in the world that have any notable mineral resources making everyone to come to them and you must agree on their terms before they give you some.

    The game is on.
Some people are still behaving as if they are blind.

I want to thank God, the creator of heaven and earth and maker of all man and the living for creating special humans which I call guardian Angels in human forms. I have come to the conclusion that Mike Arnold is one of them . And I hold him so highly placed like I do for only one man from the Eastern part of Nigeria, which is at the verge of breaking out as a Sovereign Nation “BIAFRA.” That man is Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. The Persecuted Prisoner of conscience. illegally renditioned or kidnapped from Kenyan and Imprisoned in Sokoto state of Nigeria.
Mr. Mike, continue the good fight of faith πŸ™. Heaven is πŸ‘€ watching. Before God and Man, I must tell you that God rewards immensely those who does his Biddens. I following you and your works. You have become a role-model for me. All you said here as I read are all true. This is coming from a broken πŸ’” heart. People you believed, loved cared for and intended that you both deliver the needed support and rescue for the Persecuted christians of Nigeria. Now they have been bamboozled, and ……to work for the Persecuted. They have been bewitched by the talismenn of the Islamic Caliphate. They now put money and material gain first. Nigeria Government house is the headquarters of African black Evil magic. You have decended into the abbyse of the powers of darkness. Only the grace of God is keeping you right now. You are sharing similar faith with Nnamdi Kanu. Please my brother, Look ahead and see πŸ‘€ the paradise reserved for your soul if eventually you leave this planet one day. And it is appointed for everyman. You are blessed πŸ™Œ πŸ˜‡ already. Please keep the Record for the Arnold’s family in America. I love ❀️ you, and I truly do.
    Thank you dear.
The millions of Christians killed by this monsters will be proud of you. I Wii tell my children and children, children about Mike Arnold and his effort to safe the dying Christians in Nigeria. We shall immortalise you.

  8. Mike Arnold, we deeply appreciate all you have been doing, still do, and believe will still do. God bless you! The greatest fear still remains the possibility of these your efforts not achieving their purpose(s) despite the good motive behind it all. Your experience is a classic Nigerian reality of good motives being truncated. Truth be told, there will be those bought by money in the coalition and there will be the simple-minded who will give their approvals not knowing they are merely being used by others whose fingers have been covered with money… blood money.

I think our challenge is that the oppressors, whether Nigerian or non-Nigerian, have always used the same play book of dividing any groupings that gather towards freedom. The Nigerian State actually believe –and have also practiced it– that everyone has a price and can be bought. At first, it didn’t make sense when we see Britain, China and others being bought by the resources Nigeria should survive with. We have asked on what would the conquering Fulani live on after mortgaging all resources to these ones. But your revelation on the Mahdi now makes everything make sense. We now understand why the Fula wouldn’t mind living in the bush/forest for years why stalking their prey and giving out all resources for their jihad campaigns. Because for them, the rewards they seek is not really in houses, clothes, cars, gold and such; but playing a part in the return of their most esteemed Mahdi.

Let me end by saying that our victory will come as the victory of David against Goliath. I am not talking about sizes here –a small force versus a big force. I am talking about the fact that David used a weapon Goliath was not familiar with, never prepared for; and actually mocked. So, he made no efforts to dodge those pebbles; rather, walked closer to David in contempt, which allowed the pebble to have a devastating effect on him. We must think up ways that the world’s secret services, especially that of Britain, have no playbook on; something they wouldn’t understand; and by the time they do, it would have wrecked havoc on those chains holding us down. I have some ideas, they surely look and sound stupid; but I am sure that no one would expect a liberation movement to take that route.

Thank you for all you do. May you never faint nor grow weary. Jehovah will reward you not only in Heaven, but here on earth. Chief of which will be your very eyes seeing and witnessing this emancipation. Thank you and remain God-blessed!

  9. Thanks Mike for this sacrificial stand for Truth in Nigeria. May the LORD amplify your voice, vindicate you, and grant us the results we are praying for.

  10. Mazi Mike Arnold.
Let the Favor of God continue to surround you as a shield.

  11. This is wonderful. Without truthful people like Mike, we Christians are gone in Nigeria completely. God will always provide us with a helper which he has done through Mike. May God continue to bless him wonderfully until we achieve this liberation. May God Almighty bless us all

  12. God bless you Mike, it’s like you’re fighting this alone in Washington, it’s so unfortunate that our lives as Christians can be trivialized by a $9,000,000 nine million dollar bribe to lobbyists in USA to make the trump government look away from the genocide.

  13. Samson Gabriel July 1, 2026 at 6:47 pm

I must say firstly, Thank you so much Mike Arnold your πŸ‘£ foot print cannot be deleted and ignored when Nigerian/ Nigeria Christians finally sings that Separation And Freedom Song.
I believe in everything you represent and so are many who do the same.
Going forward, you must give us a credible platform for us who mean for Nigeria to fight for what we believe in.
    Whether US support or not.
Freedom much come at a cost.
The Nigeria genocide is real and it is ongoing and it must be stopped by God’s grace and heavenly backing.
    Thank you once again
God bless and uphold you and family.

  14. Many Nigerians like myself can discern who is truly trying to save Nigeria and who is pretending to do so. According to the Bible, “by their fruits, you will recognize those men”!

The battle line is drawn. Mike Arnold has in these days of DCI swamp trying to swallow every decent voice, decided to fight on the side of the people of Nigeria and we appreciate it dearly. I am surprised and disappointed that people like Judd Saul is now working for the interest of the Nigerian government. That leaves Mike Arnold and Alex Babir as the only trustworthy voices fighting for the Nigerian people

  15. GOOD lord Bless you and preserve you for your good work’s, but what can we biafrans do because the days ahead is evil
